PROJECT REPORT

It is unavoidable not thinking about in Doenleveld when you project CEIMT because of his public singular building condition and the mutual influence they exert. This project proposed some suggestions about how understand this symbiosis.

For these reason, it is propose recovering Doelenveld original dimension, worth having buildings near Doelenstraart number 3 and number 5 as background in west area. It is considered reinforcing east/west direction by pavement and trees alignment to define a new area and decreasing presence of some buildings’ back as many recent not-lucky interventions. It is decided to employ translucent glass paves in upper floors to reinforce CEIMT building singularity.

Building takes certain liberties forward established perimeter, it sometimes sets back in relation to expected line with intention to improve surrounding streets and generate certain intern gardens with back facades.

Main access placed on Doelenveld St. produces a division in access under the shelter that allows slipt-up coffee-shop and restaurant working from the rest of the center. From the shop you can also access to Lucebert Foundation. In the same building are disposed two little rooms for offices that can have independent access.
